We welcome the opportunity to recommend Sue Adcock Garden Designs based on the success of the landscaping project at Crimscote Hill House. We believe that having your gardens landscaped is quite a daunting prospect, but can be extremely rewarding when done correctly. To this end it is important to use the right professional landscape designer.

Our landscaping project took place over two years, covering six acres of formal gardens, forestry and wild flower meadows. The project involved the planting of hundreds of trees, thousands of bulbs and over several hundred metres of laid York stonework. The formal gardens incorporate a multi-level rill and a large pond.

We have been impressed throughout with Sue’s vision and creativity and the structured approach which ensured the project was delivered on time and on budget. Now we enjoy our beautiful gardens with on-going seasonal changes throughout the year.

With regard to the general upkeep and maintenance, we employ a professional gardener who manages to carry out the necessary work in one day per week, which has resulted in relatively low on-going maintenance cost.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Sue and her team to carry out any landscaping project.

Our garden was laid out during the 50’s by the original owners of the house. It had been modified over the years without any co-ordinated plans. We took the opportunity after completing a kitchen and sun room extension to redesign the garden.
Sue prepared a number of alternative designs based on her vision of how best to achieve the gardens potential. She was very perceptive in recognising the changes that had to be made to improve the aspect spaciousness and year round colour displays for the borders.

She had wide appreciation of the types of plants and trees available and suitable for the various places in the garden.
Lacking the knowledge of garden design and suitable plants we were unsure of some of Sue’s suggestions in the first instance. We soon began to realise that her experience, knowledge, artistic flair and quality approach to implement the chosen design made sense and we ended up with a delightful end solution.
